How to Estimate Daily Caloric Burn

  1. x*(g) = r
  2. r*1.3 = s
  3. s+m*100 = t

Example (200lbs male running 5miles):

200*11*1.3+5*100= 3360 calories

x = weight in lbs

g = gender multiplier (women 10; men 11)

r = resting metabolic rate

s = number of calories burned with standard everyday activities

m = miles

t = total daily calorie burn
